ABOUT LAURIE:

Laurie is certified as a speech-language pathologist by the American Speech-Language Hearing Association and licensed as a speech-language pathologist by the state of Connecticut. She is a member of the American Academy of Private Practice in Speech Pathology and Audiology (AAPPSPA).  She is also a member of the Connecticut Speech and Hearing Association, where she chairs the Private Practice, Hospitals, and Clinics committee. 

Laurie obtained her Bachelor’s Degree cum laude in Psychology and Social Relations at Harvard College and obtained her Master’s Degree in Speech Pathology at Boston University.  She has over 25 years of experience in the field of speech pathology and has worked in hospitals, schools, private practice, skilled nursing facilities, and rehabilitation management.
